Gerry Win Hull

August 15, 1947 — December 26, 2021

Gerry Hull was a wonderful husband, father and friend. He is and will be greatly missed by his family. He was dedicated to us and always put his family first. He had a wonderful work ethic and would go to work even when feeling sick. Gerry loved nature, fishing, hunting and lately had so enjoyed his hobby of handcrafting obsidian knives and arrow heads that he sold at Sat. Market. This made retirement fun and he enjoyed the smiles on people and children's faces when he gave away an arrowhead and a necklace. He was a giver in life all the way and sought to make sure everyone was happy and kept us laughing. He often brought home small gifts for each of us when his jobs demanded that he come in and climbed the corporate ladder he kindly turned those opportunities down in order to be with his family. He was honest and kind all his life and loved the Lord. We will so miss him, but have the assurance that we will be together again in the Lord's Kingdom.

He grew up in Tygh Valley, Oregon. Did commercial fishing with his dad in Newport during his twenties and returned to Tygh Valledy to do logging where he met his wife, Diane who had recently moved to that area to care for children of a family that had recently moved there. God had their union in mind and beautifully brought them together.

They had their two children in Hood River, Oregon where Gerry was then working for Servicemaster, overseeing, Housekeeping at Hood River Memorial Hospital. When their children Justin and Rachel were in third and fourth grades, they transferred down to Grants Pass, OR to work for Servicemaster in the Three Rivers School District. Gerry was always open to new adventures.

He was happy and helpful to all. We love him so much and will miss him greatly.

He is preceded in passing by his father Irwin Hull, His mother Eunice and his brother Tim sister Marge. He is survived by his sister Trudy and twin brother Gaile.
