Gerald (Jerry) Earl Milligan
May 28, 1938 - January 5, 2025
Gerald (Jerry) Earl Milligan was born on May 28, 1938, in Monmouth, Warren County, Illinois, to Jenny and William Milligan. He lived a life filled with dedication and love, marked by his service in the United States Army from 1961 to 1967, during which he distinguished himself as a skilled marksman with the M-14 rifle.
From 1979 until 2021, Jerry called Sunny Valley, Oregon home, after which he resided in Merlin, Oregon. In 1974, he married Carol A. Johnson, and together they raised four wonderful daughters: Simmi Ramirez (Ben Ramirez), Roxanne Ducusin (Thomas Ducusin), Laura Haga, and Christie Milligan. Affectionately known as the "Milligan girls," they were a source of pride for Jerry.
On January 5, 2025, we said goodbye to a beloved Husband, Father of four, Grandfather of seven, and Great-Grandfather of four. Jerry’s brilliant mind, tireless work ethic, and infectious humor left an indelible mark on everyone he met. His laughter and sharp wit will be missed by all that knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
