Jerry Dynge passed away August 23, 2011 in Rogue River. He was born March 27, 1931 in Medford, Oregon, to Gerald T. and Dorothy Dynge. He attended Lone Pine grade school in Medford and then moved with his mother to the Seattle area. He graduated from high school in Puyallup, WA. He then returned to the Medford and Gold Hill area where he lived for the remainder of his life. He was in the grocery business for many years having owned JD's Market for several of those years. His favorite job, however, came later in life working in the tasting room at Del Rio Vineyards and Winery. He loved the years he spent there, where he made many close friends, and truly became part of the Del Rio "Family". Jerry was passionate about artwork and painting; and leaves behind many beautiful oil paintings of his creation. Throughout his life he enjoyed gardening, landscaping, and just being surrounded by nature. Jerry is survived by his children, Linda Henderson of San Diego, CA; Lori Dynge of Medford, OR; and Gary Dynge of North Bend, OR; a granddaughter Cassie and a great-granddaughter Brooke. A celebration of his life will be held at Del Rio Vineyards and Winery in Gold Hill, Oregon on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. Donations may be made to: Wildlife Images Rehabilitation & Education Center â¨P.O.
