Gerald Brown

Gerald Brown 88 of Grants Pass passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Three Rivers Community Hospital. Born on November 19, 1923 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to John and Willia Brown. Gerald served in the United States Navy during WWII from March 13, 1944 until his honorable discharge on November 23, 1945. He worked as a Sales Manager for J.P. Stevens, Inc. Gerald married Sandra Schubert on July 2, 1983. Together they moved to Grants Pass from Glendora, California in 1997. They are members of Faith Baptist Church. Gerald enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife survivors include six children, daughter, Daphine Stevenson of Wales, Europe; daughter, Geraldine Thomas of Hennepin, Ill; son, Ennis White of Wildomar, CA; daughter, Debra Tyler of Romania, Europe; son, Duane Ward of Folsom, CA; son, Travis Ward or Eugene, OR; 21 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. His son John Brown preceded him in death.
