George A. Taylor

George A. Taylor, 75 of Grants Pass passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, Oregon. A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 1:00 PM. At the family home: 1127 Cashmere Drive, Grants Pass, Oregon 97527 George was born on July 12, 1931 in Los Angeles, California to Louis & Florence Taylor. George served from 1950 â€" 1952 in the National Guard during the Korean War. On September 11, 1976 in Woodland Hills, California he married Susan Kirk. George worked for many years as a mechanic for the Southern California Water District. In October of 2004 they moved to Grants Pass from Hacienda Heights, California. George was a member of the American Legion Post 75 and VFW Post 8620 in West Covina, California. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, traveling in the RV. He was the ultimate home body enjoying football and baseball on the television. Survivors Include: Wife, Susan Taylor of Grants Pass, OR; Son Loren Taylor of Akton, CA; Son Scott Taylor of Cleveland, Ohio; Daughter Julie Zuniga of Campbell, CA Daughter, Jamie Robinson of San Jose, CA; and a Brother, Louis Taylor of Grants Pass, OR 6 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren
