Frederick Martin "Fred" Spencer Jr.

Frederick Martin Spencer, 66 of Grants Pass passed away October 3, 2014 at his residence in Grants Pass, Oregon. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Frederick was born on February 20, 2014 to Frederick and Edna Spencer in Gardiner, Maine. He grew up in Auburn, California and graduated from Placer High School in 1967. On June 15, 1968 he married Gloria Jean James in Auburn, California. He worked as a railroad diesel mechanic for Southern Pacific Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of Boozefighters Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed motorcycling and fishing. In addition to his wife survivors include his daughters, Leanne Hill of Chico, California and Janelle Glazer of Yuba City, California; two grandsons and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick M. Spencer Sr., his mother, Edna Spencer and his sister Gloria Sutton.
