Frank Edward Walker, 82, of Rogue River, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009 at Three Rivers Community Hospital. Private interment will be held at a later date. He was born May 31, 1927, in Los Angeles to Harold and Inez Walker. After moving to Grants Pass in 1963, he owned the Selma Tavern. He also worked for Josephine County and finally at the plywood mill in Rogue River until he retired. Among his hobbies were gardening and raising German shepherd dogs. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Walker of Rogue River; a son, Christopher Uebel of Reno, Nev.; a daughter, Jackie Kilpatrick of Grants Pass; a brother, Bill Walker of San Pedro, Calif.; seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
