It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank W. Maynard, 75, of Grants Pass, Oregon, who departed from this world on December 17, 2023, at Royale Gardens Nursing Home. A dedicated veteran, Frank was honored with military services at Eagle Point National Cemetery, a place that reflects his commitment to serving his country.

Born on May 16, 1948 to Robert and Lillie Maynard, Frank’s journey was marked by devotion and resilience. His courageous service in the United States Marine Corps shaped the man he became, instilling a sense of purpose that he carried throughout his life.

On December 11, 1972, Frank married his beloved wife, Charlotte Lanfair, in Reno, Nevada. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. In the early 1980s, Frank established a swimming pool business in Medford, which he successfully led for over two decades, providing not only for his immediate family but also extending his care to include sisters from another marriage. His commitment to family was unwavering, and he always made sure they felt loved and supported.

Frank was a man with a larger-than-life spirit. Known for his long white beard and infectious laughter, he was affectionately dubbed "Santa Claus" by many close friends, a testament to the joy he brought to those around him. His warmth and humor will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Although Frank may no longer be with us, his spirit and legacy continue to live on through his cherished children and his adoring wife. He touched the lives of many and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Let us remember Frank not just with sorrow, but with gratitude for the beautiful moments we shared and the love he imparted to all of us. He will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
