Francis E. Lile, 69, of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed peacefully away October 4, 2016 at his home. "Frank" was born in Moab, Utah on March 19, 1947 to Glenn and Beatrix Lile. When Frank was fourteen his family made the decision to move to Grants Pass, Oregon, where he graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1965. Upon Graduation Frank enlisted in the Navy and served 6 years. After being honorably discharged he returned to Grants Pass. He married his first wife, Sherri Van De Walker and they welcomed a daughter, Felicia. They were married for 20 years. Frank remarried to Julie Wooden-Lile with whom he spent 13 years. She preceded him in death. Frank worked most of his life in the lumber mills of the Rogue Valley as a Master Mechanic. When he wasn't working he enjoyed, fishing, hunting, bird watching, gold dredging, flying and spending time with his family. He was a Flight Instructor, and one of the first Sport Pilot Instructors on the West Coast. Survivor's Include his daughter Felicia Gould of Grants Pass, his granddaughter Heather Gould of Grants Pass, Dennis and Don Lile of Salmon, Idaho, Sandra Lile of Phoenix, Arizona, and Glenna Billet of Hamilton, Montana.
