Evelyn "Evie" Plut, 75, of Grants Pass died Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Applegate House in Grants Pass. Condolences may be sent to the family at 1113 Wylie Lane, Grants Pass, OR 97527. She was born Nov. 23, 1936, in Sisseton, S.D. On May 16, 1959, she married John Plut, who survives. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Steve Plut of Bothell, Wash.; a daughter, Ruth Ann Madamba of Rocklin, Calif.; and eight siblings.
