Eugene E. Siler

Eugene E. Siler, 92, of Grants Pass passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at his home. No services are planned In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lovejoy Hospice. Eugene was born on April 30, 1915 in Carthage, Missouri to Efton and Pearl Siler. He served in the US Navy during WWII until his honorable discharge on December 11, 1945. Eugene married Fern Stella Robertson on July 21, 1945 in Yuma, Arizona. He worked for many years in San Francisco, CA as an operating engineer. In 2003 they moved to Grants Pass from Lake County California. Eugene enjoyed gardening and fishing. Survivors include his wife Fern Siler of Grants Pass; son Patrick Siler of Grants Pass He is preceded in death by a son Michael Siler in June of 2007
