Edward Mellow

Arnold Edward Mellow, 76 of Grants Pass passed away January 16, 2013 at his home in Grants Pass, Oregon. A celebration of life will be held on March 22, 2013 at Jerome Prairie Bible Church at 2:00 PM. Arnold was born on September 6, 1936 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Frank and Isabele Mellow. Arnold was married to Clydus Mellow. She preceded him in death. He served in the Army from February of 1957 to February of 1959. He then worked as an ice-cream maker for many years for Dreyers ice-cream. Arnold or "Arny" as he was known by enjoyed golf and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Arny was loved and adored by all that knew him. Survivors include, step-children Craig Williams and his fiancé Nicola Davies of Grants Pass, Tayleii Williams of Grants Pass, Oregon, Willy Joe Williams of Bend, Oregon, Traci Giles of Groveland, California; step-grandsons, Cody and Colin of Groveland, California; step-grandaughters Hailey and Nicole of Kentucky; brothers, Henry of Napa, California, Joseph of Grants Pass, Oregon; sisters, Elizabeth Tregaskis of Santa Rosa, California and Lorraine Saffer of Selma, Oregon; numerous nieces and nephews and Jody, his little beagle and best friend who was adopted and went to a happy home with good friends, Dale and Delores. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Michelle Williams; brothers, Charles, Alfred, John, George, Frank, Kenneth and Andrew.
