Ed Calhoun, 75 of Grants Pass died Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass. Visitation: Tuesday, April 3, 2007, 4:00 PM â" 7:00 PM at Stephens Family Chapel in Grants Pass. Funeral Services: Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at 1:00 PM, Stephens Family Chapel. Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park in Grants Pass, Oregon He was born Herman Edwin Calhoun on January 12, 1032 in Steubenville, Ohio to Herman & Pauline Calhoun. On July 26, 1952 in Fresno, California he married Janice Loy Hilton who survives. Ed attended Fresno State from 1950 until 1952 when he served in the US Army. After his honorable discharge in 1954 he returned to Fresno State where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree. He lived in Fresno, CA from 1949 â" 1973. In 1973 he moved his family to San Jose, California. In 1999 Ed and Janice moved to Grants Pass from San Jose. Ed enjoyed classic cars, going to classic car shows, and gardening. Survivors Include his wife Janice Calhoun of Grants Pass, OR; Four Daughters, Sharon Longnecker of Aptos, CA, Shelley Armin of Sugarland, TX, Wendy Lemmon of Grants Pass, OR, and Janice Valenzuela of Saratoga, CA; Two Sons, Bruce Calhoun of Oakley, CA, and John Calhoun of Grants Pass, OR; 15 grandchildren.
