Dottie Wolfe

Dorothy "Dottie" Wolfe, 81, of Grants Pass died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at Three Rivers Community Hospital. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Grants Pass Golf Club, where she was a member for many years. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Josephine County Animal Shelter, 1420 Brookside Blvd., Grants Pass, OR 97526; or to the Rogue Valley Humane Society, 429 N.W. Scenic Drive, Grants Pass, OR 97526. Wolfe was born Oct. 23, 1928, in Inglewood, Calif., to Kathryn Sinclair and Fred Cummings. She lived in Grants Pass for almost 50 years and she retired from Bank of America. Survivors include a son, David Wolfe of Seattle; two daughters, Kathryn Haas and Julie Deger, both of Grants Pass; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her husband, James Wolfe, died before her.
