Dorothy Benchek

Our beautiful mother, Dorothy Ann Benchek, lost her battle with lymphoma on September 23, 2015. She was born in Nanticoke, PA on February 5th, 1929. She lived in Meriden, CT until the family moved to California in 1962. In 2011 she & Dad made the move to Rogue River, Oregon. Dorothy will be remembered for her love & devotion to her family and friends, strong sense of humor, gift of storytelling, fixing puzzles and her love of gardening. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Henry Andrew Benchek and her loving daughter Lucille Mary Benchek. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Wiley of Colfax, CA, daughter Cindy Nagel & son in law Chuck of Rogue River, OR, son Steve Benchek & daughter in law Vangie of Santa Barbara, CA, son Bob Benchek & daughter in law Tina of Lompoc, CA, granddaughter Jennifer McElhany & husband Paul, granddaughter Eleni, grandsons Dylan, Noah and Luke, brother Ted Czerwinski & wife Norma Jean, nieces Marie, Donna, Dawn Marie, Shelly, Terry, & MaryLou and nephews Carmen, Kevin,Wayne & Frank.
