Donald W Riggs

Obituary Information Donald Wayne Riggs, 77 of Williams passed away, November 2, 2012 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass, Oregon. Riggs was born on May 20, 1935 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert and June Riggs. He served in the United States Army from January 24, 1955 until his honorable discharge on November 21,1957. He married Sharon Lee Sanders on October 5, 1968 in Snohomish, Washington who survives. During his life Donald played semi-pro football, was a teacher, little league coach and electrician. Electrician was his occupation for most of his life. Donald and Sharon moved to Grants Pass from Reseda, California in 1991. Donald was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, camping and golf. In addition to his wife survivors include his daughter Stacy Prozy of Grants Pass; three sons, Greg Riggs of Tarzana, CA, Ken Riggs of North Hollywood, CA, and Earl Holmes of Grants Pass; 5 grandchildren.
