Donald E Pounders

Donald Pounders, 73 of Grants Pass passed away, March 27, 2013 at his home in Grants Pass, Oregon. A viewing will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Stephens Family Chapel. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013, 1:00 PM at Stephens Family Chapel with Pastor Ken Bern officiating. Donald was born on October 1, 1939 in Cheboygan, Michigan to Oather and Margaret Pounders. On May 25, 1974 he married Marilyn Green in Reno, Nevada. In 1960 he moved to Southern Oregon from Los Angeles, California. Donald was the owner of D& B Roofing in which he retired from in 2001. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. In addition to his wife he is survived by his son's, Craig Pounders of Hollister, Michigan and Jimmy Wright of Grants Pass, Oregon; brother's Lance, Paul and Dennis; sister's, Ginney, Velma, Cindy and Sharon and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Renee Kidwell; sister, Judy Baney and brother Danny Pounders.
