Donald Ray "Don" Parker

Donald "Don" Ray Parker, 69, of Grants Pass passed away Friday August 12, 2011 at Three Rivers Community Hospital. No services are planned. He was born on August 24, 1941 in Maywood, California to Dale and Ola Parker. On November 20, 1966 in Tijuana, Mexico he married Shirley Ann Cribbs. Don worked the past 30 years as a long haul truck driver with the last 15 as Owner / Operator team driver for Gordon Trucking with his wife Shirley. In 1979 they moved to Grants Pass from Simi Valley, California. Don enjoyed shooting pool, golfing, working in the yard and tinkering on cars. In addition to his wife Shirley survivors include two daughters Sue Lookabaugh of Grants Pass and Shelby Day of Central Point; brother Steve Parker of Mission Viejo, CA; sister Susan Clutterham of Valencia, CA; parents Dale and Ola Parker of Medford; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
