Donald Ray Morlock, 74, of Grants Pass died March 18, 2008, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Stephens Family Chapel. Contributions may be made to Asante Hospice, 2600 Siskiyou Blvd., No. 100, Medford, OR 97504. He was born Jan. 31, 1934, in Portland to Benjamin and Sadie Morlock. He served in the Army from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1958. In 1973, he moved to Grants Pass from California. For many years, he was the head janitor at Lincoln Savage Middle School. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and AARP. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the coast, crabbing, camping, boating, gardening and family gatherings. Survivors include his partner, Ivy Marks of Grants Pass; a son, Michael Morlock of Salem; three daughters, Marla Watts of Grants Pass, and Kathy Miller and Peggy Aubuchon, both of Sacramento, Calif.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
