Donald McEntire

Donald J. McEntire (Don), 59, of Grants Pass died Saturday, March 9th, 2013, at his home in Grants Pass, Oregon. Private services will be held. He was born in Crescent City, California in 1953. He grew up in Gasquet, California and moved to Rogue River, Oregon during High School. In 1973 he joined the U.S. Airforce and was stationed in Montana where he worked on the road crew. Most of his adult life he worked in area veneer plants. He enjoyed hunting, reading, bigfoot mysteries, family and camping. He is survived by his mother, Melda of Grants Pass, sisters Patty of Grants Pass, Peggy Lara of Republic, WA and Sandi Deffebach of Grants Pass, his 4 children: Sarah Stiewig of Grants Pass, Zac McEntire of Medford, OR, Matthew McEntire of Grants Pass and Jessie McEntire of Grants Pass; along with 11 grandchildren and his best friend Greg Kelly of Grants Pass. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph W. McEntire last July.
