Donald L. Clark

May 27, 1932 — April 11, 2008

Don passed away suddenly in Eugene, Oregon. Don was born in Prairie View, Kan. to Lee and Jennie Clark. He and his family moved to Oregon in the late 30's. In his adult life, he resided between Salem and Grants Pass working in the automotive industry. In 1999, he and his wife, Jane, moved back to Grants Pass in retirement, buying 12 acres. They developed this property with a shop, barn, and out buildings. He enjoyed building and doing much of the finish work on the home and the property development. he enjoyed gardening, fruit trees, building fences, and home improvement. He mostly enjoyed his family and friends. Dan was involved in the OSU Extension Services and a reader in the SMART Reading Program, which he enjoyed so much. He is survived by his wife, Jane, to whom he would have been married for 55 years this coming October; son, Bob and his wife Denise and their children, Jennifer and Michael of Grants Pass; daughter, Cheryl Fowler of Aumsville; daughter, Vikki Cooper and her husband Michael of Medford; sister, Barbara Sackett of Sublimity; one granddaughter, Krysten Cooper of Medford; two aunts, one uncle, and many cousins. Donations may be given to SMART, 670 Superior Ct. #108, Medford, Ore. 97504 in memory of Donald Clark/Josephine County. A celebration of life will be held later in the summer.
