Derrold Joseph Kinzel

Derrold Joseph Kinzel, 50 of Grants Pass passed away August 3, 2013 in Sacramento, California. Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013, 11:00 AM at First Christian Church with Pastor Wes Winn officiating. Derrold was born on May 25, 1963 in Duarte, California to Randy and Stephanie Kinzel. After High School he served in the United States Army. On July 25, 1993 in Virginia City, Nevada he married Tamara Lynn McCorkle who survives. In 2004 they moved to Grants Pass from Nevada. Through his life Derrold worked as a chef, insulation and a truck driver. The past 5 years Derrold worked for A&M Transport in Glendale. He was a member of First Christian Church. Derrold enjoyed traveling, gardening, history, football, NASCAR and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife survivors include four children, Brendon, Tabatha, Derrold Jr. and Drake Kinzel all of Grants Pass; father Randy Kinzel and mother Stephanie Kinzel of Williams, OR; brother Donald Kinzel of California; sister Dionne McGinnes of Chicago, Illinois; niece Stephanie Bonham of Grants Pass and Six grandchildren. His brother Drake Kinzel preceded him in death.
