David W. Cooks

David W. Cooks, 60, of Grants Pass, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2007, at Three Rivers Community Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held in celebration of his life at 11:00 am on March 10, 2007, at Stephens Family Chapel. Private interment at Granite Hill Cemetery He was born in San Mateo, California to Wilbur and Virginia Cooks. David worked for many years in the Bay Area in retail sales. He enjoyed music and loved collecting rock memorabilia. He got great enjoyment of following around the bands and attending concerts like the Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. On September 1, 1990 he married Kevin Methler in San Francisco, California. Together they moved to Grants Pass in 1992. Kevin preceded him in death on March 12, 1995. David was a collector of antiques and music memorabilia he enjoyed the internet and socializing. David was a member of Newman United Methodist Church. He is survived by his sister Virginia Hodges of Grants Pass, Oregon.
