David Barcellos, 63, of Grants Pass died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at his home. Services with military honors will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery. He was born Dec. 15, 1948, in Los Banos, Calif., to Manuel and Lillian Barcellos. He served in the Air Force from Oct. 2, 1967, until his honorable discharge on Dec. 29, 1969. In 1981, he moved to Grants Pass from Los Banos. On July 24, 1987, in Grants Pass, he married Anna Silva, who survives. He worked as a car painter. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, woodworking, reading, NASCAR, barbecuing, making chili, gardening and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Amy Wilhite of Bakersfield, Calif.; a stepson, Josh Hunt of Medford; a stepdaughter, Tanya Ehlinger of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Lydia Lewis of Chowchilla, Calif.; and eight grandchildren
