Daune L Caron

Daune Lois Caron, 67, of Grants Pass, OR died September 2, 2013 (Labor Day) at Royal Gardens (nursing facility) from melanoma with metastasis to liver and lungs (Stage IV), diabetes mellitus type 2 with blindness. There was no graveside service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 6915 S.W. Macadam #130, Portland, OR 97219. She was born Daune Lois Caron November 21, 1945 in Washington, District of Columbia to Edna Athyline McGhee and Wilfred Norman Caron. She never married. Daune moved to Grants Pass in 2006 from Ridgecrest, CA, and was living at Rogue Valley Independent Living Retirement Community. Miss Caron worked as a Building Permit Technician II in Dept. of Planning and Development Services in the County of Kern, CA, from 1991 to 2001 when she retired. She enjoyed equestrian riding, camping, music, and being with family. Miss Caron graduated from Arlington High School in Arlington Heights, IL 1963 and attended Illinois Masonic Hospital School of Nursing 1963.
