Darrel Dean Orr

Darrel Dean Orr, 77 of Cave Junction, passed away Friday, August 3, 2007 peacefully in his sleep at his home in Cave Junction, Oregon. Private Family Services have been held. Darrel Orr was born in Eureka, California to Mervin and Bessie Orr. He lived his entire life in Northern California and Southern Oregon. As a young man he served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951 until 1952. He returned home and married his high school sweetheart, Marie Crain. He opened and successfully operated Orr̢۪s Market in Crescent City, California for many years. Darrel was an avid outdoorsman, a gardener, a teller of many stories, and a kind neighbor to everyone he met. He is survived by Marie his wife of 53 years; his three children, Leonard Orr, Sharon Blalack and Ron Orr; brother, Kenneth Orr and Sister Beverly Lambert; Four grandsons and Three Great Grandsons.
