Dale H. White

Dale White, 85, of Grants Pass died of a stroke on Saturday, February 3, 2007, at Three Rivers Community Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held in celebration of his life at 11:30 am on February 17, 2007, at Calvary Crossroads Church located at 1051 SE "M" Street, Grants Pass. Bob Bonner will officiate. In lieu of flowers: Calvary Crossroads Church â€" 1051 SE M Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526 He was born in Cardington, Ohio, on May 31, 1921, to Howard Elijah White and Mary Violet (Hall) White. Dale enjoyed traveling, camping, woodworking, gardening, games and his family and friends. He was a member of the Rogue River Rooster Good Sam Club and attended Calvary Crossroads Church. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Betty. In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Dale White, Jr., of Grants Pass, a daughter, Susie Geer, of Grants Pass, a stepé‚daughter, Sharon Eyre, of San Bernardino, CA, step-son, John Markin, of Grants Pass, a brother, Charles White, of Columbus, Ohio and a sister, Joy Burton, of Grants Pass. He has seven grandchildren which include Leesa Farnsworth of Ellsworth, ME, John Drake of Grants Pass, Michelle Baker of Redlands, CA, Betty Joy Malek of Huntington Beach, CA, Daniel and Michelle White of Grants Pass and Shannon Johnson of Springfield, OR. He also has one great-granddaughter, Riley, and many nieces and nephews.
