Cheryl Eileen Slawson

Cheryl Eileen Slawson, 66 of Grants Pass passed away April 22, 2013 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass, Oregon. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013, 2:00 PM at Tom Pearce Park, 3700 Pearce Park Road, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526 Cheryl was born on July 5, 1946 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Albert and Mary Wilcox. She graduated from Grants Pass High School. Cheryl was a Park Manager at Fruitdale Trailer Park for a number of years in Grants Pass. On November 29, 2003 she married Harold Slawson. She enjoyed spending time with her family and the outdoors which included taking long drives to look for Elk. She also enjoyed cooking and reading. In addition to her husband survivors include her daughter's, Trista Beckett of Grants Pass, Oregon and Lori Rainwater of Grants Pass, Oregon; sister, Sandra Loghry of Grants Pass, Oregon; step father, Benton Wood of Grants Pass, Oregon, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Wilcox and Mary Jo Wood.
