Charles Vernoy

Charles LaVern Vernoy Sr., 74 of Grants Pass passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at his home in Grants Pass, Oregon. Arrangements by Stephens Family Chapel, Grants Pass, Oregon. Charles was born on April 7, 1939 in Cameron, Missouri to Stephen and Esther Vernoy. He moved to Oregon in 1960 from California. He worked in waste management for 34 years with Southern Oregon Sanitation in Grants Pass, Oregon. He enjoyed rafting, coin collecting, camping, fishing, hunting and bowling. He especially enjoyed westerns. He is survived by his daughter's, Glenda Graham of Grants Pass, Oregon and Donna Dibble of Westerlo, New York; son's, Charles Vernoy Jr. of Grants Pass, Oregon, Dale Vernoy of Canyonville, Oregon and Stephen Vernoy of Grants Pass, Oregon; brother's, Gene and Steven; sister's, Bonnie, Carolyn, Kay, Ann, Sharon and Pam; 19 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Vernoy; Brother's, Lyle, Marion, Alfred and Jerry; sister, Ilene.
