Charles L. McLauchlan

Charles Leslie McLauchlan Sr., 61, of Grants Pass died June 14, 2010, at Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass after a long battle with cancer. A graveside service will be held July 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Sparlin Cemetery in Williams. A celebration of life will follow. He was born Feb. 25, 1949, in San Diego to Charles and Frieda McLauchlan. In 1967, he graduated from Herbert Hoover High School, with plans of developing a cattle ranch. He later moved to the rural town of Butte Falls, where he raised his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, vintage cars, tractors and meeting new people. He especially enjoyed his family. Survivors include his partner, Sue Corrie; three daughters, Heidi Daniels, Elizabeth Lutz and Kimberly Price; three sons, Charlie Jr., Michael and Andrew McLauchlan; and two grandchildren.
