Charles L. Kolkow

Charles L. Kolkow, 82, of Grants Pass died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at his home. Services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Grants Pass Seventh-day Adventist Church. Contributions may be made to Better Life Television, 1360 N.E. Ninth St., Grants Pass, OR 97526. He was born Sept. 14, 1928, in Grants Pass to Ed and Ethel Kolkow. He attended Three Pines School and later earned his GED. He also earned his associate's degree from Chemeketa Community College. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a logger. In addition to his wife, Virginia Kolkow, survivors include three daughters, Jackie Findsen, Betty Green and Katy Johns; four sons, Bruce, Joe and Steve Kolkow and Mike Pinkerton; two brothers, Clarence and Ralph; a sister, Mary; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
