Charles U. Hart Sr.

Charles U. Hart Sr., 78 of Grants Pass passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation in Grants Pass. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Stephens Family Chapel. Private interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Grants Pass. Charles was born on February 27, 1929 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Wilbur and Alma Hart. He married Maxine Rexroat on November 4, 1950. Charles served in the US Army 101st Airborne Division during the Korean War from January 3, 1951 until his honorable discharge on December 10, 1952 Survivors include his wife Maxine Hart of Grants Pass; Son, Charles U. Hart Jr. of LeGrand, CA; Son, Danny Hart of Corona, CA; Son, Donald Hart LaHabra, CA; Daughter, Terri Maltby of Grants Pass; Son, Michael Hart of Mt. Vernon, MO; Daughter, Sherrill Hardgraves of Grants Pass; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandson Michael Shane Norton of LaGrand, CA.
