In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Dogs for the Deaf in Central Point, Oregon, in the name of Charlene Parrish. She was born May 15, 1945 in Los Angeles, California to Paul and Hilda Belford. She was raised in Southern California. On July 2, 1966 she married Lee Parrish. They celebrated love and companionship throughout their 43 years of marriage. Following the birth of their two children, Robert and Jodi, they moved from California to Grants Pass, Oregon. They were led here by the beauty of the Rogue River and the quality of life that Southern Oregon offered in which to raise their children. Charlene enjoyed reading, growing and nurturing flowers in the yard, and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren Katie, Matthew, and Grayson. Charlene was preceded in death by her father Paul Belford. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband of 43 years Lee, son Robert Parrish (Carla), daughter Jodi McCrosky (Mike), her three grandchildren, Katie Parrish, Matthew Parrish, and Grayson McCrosky, mother Hilda Belford, step-father Joe Stepan, sister Bonnie Hall, sister-in-laws Linda Rowland (Ben), and Sandy Ramp (Greg), and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. . Our sincere thank you to the entire medical team at Three Rivers Community Hospital, your care and compassion in Mom̢۪s last days mean so much to all of us.
