Caryl Fay Schot-Witt, 92 of Grants Pass passed away, March 1, 2013 at The Wach Inn Adult Foster Care in Grants Pass, Oregon. Services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013, 2:00 PM at Stephens Family Chapel with Pastor Ken Bern officiating. Caryl was born on May 4, 1920 to Ernest and Donna Havens in Oakdale, California. She worked as a bookkeeper in Watsonville, California from 1946 - 1975. She moved to Oregon in 2005 from Paradise, California. Caryl was a member of Rebekaha's in Santa Cruz, California, Paradise, California and Grants Pass, Oregon. She was also a member of the VFW in Paradise, California and the Moose Lodge in Grants Pass, Oregon. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Survivors include her son, Ernest Sanford of Grants Pass, Oregon; step-son, Tom Schot of Santa Cruz, California; step-daughter's, Jane Nadeau of Kansan City, Missouri and Joan Schot of San Jose, California; 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband's, Leroy C. Sanford, Anthony H. Schot and Sterling Jack Witt.
