She grew up in Woodside, California, where she loved riding her horses. In 1982, she moved from McCall, Idaho to Grants Pass. Grants Pass has been her home for over 30 years. Carrey loved life and nature. She also enjoyed photography and gardening. Her favorite color is yellow and her favorite song is "Don't Fence Me In" which spoke to her love for the freedom of making her own choices. Her compassionate heart led her to work as a self-employed in-home hospice caregiver for 30 years. Survivors include her sons, Rick Fisher of Clarksberg, Missouri and Shawn Fisher of Salem, Oregon; daughter Rinda Fisher of Grants Pass, Oregon, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her precious kitty Tai!
