Carolyn F. Melton, 69, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2012, in Grants Pass, Oregon. She was born June 25, 1943, in Riverside, California to James Morgan and Thelma Wooldridge and was raised by her adoptive father and mother William and Thelma Campbell. She was an only child. Carolyn grew up in the Riverside area and attended Corona High School. On June 11, 1968, she married Dennis R. Miller and through this union they would welcome two daughters, DeAnna and Mindi. Carolyn enjoyed raising her daughters and they, along with her grandchildren, were the love of her life. In May 1987, Carolyn married Bobby W. Melton and they resided in Corona, California. Bobby Melton passed away in 1990 and Carolyn would eventually move back to Oregon to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She was a hairstylist for many years and owned and operated Cinderella Beauty Salon in Grants Pass from 1978-1981. She loved visiting with her customers who were very loyal to her for many years. Her interests included her family, cooking, bowling, and playing games with family and friends. Carolyn Melton is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, DeAnna and Brent Dickerson of Grants Pass; daughter Mindi Noland of Medford; and grandchildren Brady Dickerson and Kylie Dickerson of Grants Pass, Kyle Seutter, Jenna Seutter and Tyler Seutter of Medford. And also by her step-children, Debbie Conklin of Walla Walla, WA, Dan Miller of Salem, OR and Dori Harris of Richland, WA. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bobby W. Melton and Dennis R. Miller, and her parents, William Campbell, Thelma Campbell Carroll and James Morgan. A private family service will held at a later date.
