Carol H Mott

Carol Husted Mott June 14, 1939-March 27, 2013 Carol was born in Bay City, Michigan to Franklin Pitkin Husted and Phyllis Henderson. Graduated Bay City Central High school in 1957. Matriculated to Syracuse University where she achieved her BA in English and Master of Science in Library Science. She went on to work as a reference librarian at Delta College in Bay City, Michigan, Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ and at numerous other libraries in the northern California Bay area. She married Jordan Lawrence Mott VI on June 19, 1976 in Carmel, Ca. She is survived by her husband Jordan, her children Jill P. Mott, of (Fort Collins, CO), Blair P. Mott, (Santa Barbara, CA) grandchildren Rafiki Blair Lindsell, Jill Isabel Mott, step children Jordan Mott VII (Studio City, CA), Stacey Mott Lazor, (Beverly Hills, MI)Denise Mott Mass,(Abingdon, VA), six step grad children and her brother Forbes Pitkin Husted (Travis City, MI) Carol and Jordan were world travelers, who loved sailing to exotic ports from The British Virgin Islands to the Greek Islands, and from the Turkish Coast to Europe. Carol was a tremendously warm and generous soul who reveled in her marriage her children, grandchildren and close friends.
