Carol Lee "Kelly" Kerner, 81, of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, at her home. Kelly was born in Wichita, Kansas, on February 25, 1942, to John and Christine Binder. She moved from Lamar, Colorado, to Pueblo,Colorado, in 1953 where she attended Pueblo East High School and Centennial High School, and Pueblo Jr. College and Western State (now Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado). She graduated with her bachelors and was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority. Kelly Married Terry Kerner in Pueblo, Colorado in December 1965, and moved to Eugene in the summer of 1965, and then Grants Pass in 1967, and together had a son and daughter. Kelly became a founding member of the Rogue Classic Mustang Car Club in 1983. She truly enjoyed being an active member for 40 years. In addition to cars, she loved spending time with her family, children, grandson, and her dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Kerner, son Paul Kerner (Leticia), daughter Tracy Jacobson (Daniel); grandson Austin Kerner; and her brother, John Robert Binder. Kelly is preceded in death by her father, John Binder, 1996, and mother, Christine Binder, 2013.
