Carmeen Pearl Zimmerman

Carmeen Pearl Zimmerman, 82 of Grants Pass passed away, Friday, May 17, 2013 at her home in Grants Pass, Oregon. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Stephens Family Chapel Carmeen was born on December 24, 1930 in New York, New York to Frank and Marcie Tigue. She graduated from Nursing School in New York. She worked most of her life as a registered nurse working locally at Litton Industries in Grants Pass. Carmeen moved to Grants Pass from Tacoma, WA in 1972. On April 12, 1986 she married James Zimmerman in Grants Pass. Carmeen enjoyed traveling, reading, bell ringing and taking care of her home. She was a member of Newman United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband survivors include two daughters Susan Hayes and Patrice Johnson; two step-sons James Zimmerman Jr. and Brian Zimmerman; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
