Bonnie Jersey, 62 of Grants Pass died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, 4:00 PM at Stephens Family Chapel. Contributions: The National MS Society Oregon Chapter 104 SW Clay Street Portland, OR 97201 Bonnie was born on January 17, 1945 in Rhinelander, WI to Wilbur & Violet Pecore. Bonnie graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1963. On September 27, 1969 she married Ron Jersey who survives. She attended Southern Oregon State College receiving her Bachelors Degree. Bonnie worked as a counselor for Options in Grants Pass and also taught at Rogue Community College. She belonged to the Josephine and Jackson County Women̢۪s Political Caucus and the Democratic Party. She was a skilled homemaker and interior decorator. She enjoyed music and cooking. Bonnie was a member of St. Anne̢۪s Catholic Church. In addition to her husband survivors Include her mother Violet Anderson of Rhinelander, WI; Two sisters, Nan Moritz of Rhinelander, WI and Viki Brown of Eagle Point, OR; Two Aunts, Dorothy Weisse of Grants Pass and Florence Pecor of Rhinelander, WI; Several cousins and three sister-in-laws all in the Rhinelander area.
