Bonnie Lee Dervin, 69, of Grants Pass died March 24, 2009, at her home. Services will be held at a later date. Dervin was born June 10, 1939, in San Francisco to Walden and Norma Hansen. On Dec. 20, 1963, in Palo Alto, Calif., she married John Thomas Dervin, who survives. They moved to Grants Pass from Omaha, Neb., in 2004. She enjoyed volunteering for several organizations, including PETA and the Rogue Valley Humane Society Thrift Shop. She also enjoyed gardening, yoga, spirituality and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Keith Dervin of San Jose, Calif., a daughter, Sarah Hansen of Novato, Calif.; two sisters, Kay Sims of Kalispell, Mont., and Evy Camou of Sacramento, Calif.; a brother, Alan Hansen of Pueblo, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
