Beverly Jan Greiner

Beverly J. Simmons Greiner of Rogue River, Oregon passed peacefully from this life on May 22, 2007 after battling a long illness. Born December 11, 1936 in Oak Hill, Florida to Clyde E. and Ethel C. Simmons, Beverly moved to Silver City, New Mexico where she grew up. She was a long time resident of Ventura, California, employed by Ventura Coastal Corporation for over 25 years before moving to Oregon in 2001. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Robert D. Greiner, her two brothers Ronald L. Simmons of Roanoke, VA and Joel E. Simmons of Sulphur Springs, TX and her three children Donna K. Bush of Fortuna, CA, Kelly R. Mortensen of The Woodlands, TX, and Diane L. Cook of Ventura, CA in addition to seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Beverly was a strong, independent and hardworking woman who lived every day to the fullest. Besides being an avid fisherman, she loved traveling, gardening, playing the piano and her two dogs. But she especially enjoyed entertaining and cooking for her family. She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all of us.
