Betty Ann Sikes

Betty Ann Sikes, 72, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2007 in Medford, Oregon following a courageous battle with cancer. Betty was born on September 30, 1934 in Kingsford, Michigan to Clinton and Doris Walton. Betty was a very fun-loving and caring person. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched. Betty enjoyed traveling and the friendship of many old and new friends. She had a special fondness for animals and often shared handmade gifts from her heart with local animal shelters and pet care facilities. Betty is survived by her loving husband and best friend Donald Sikes, sister Sharon Moore, daughters Doris Dollar Kuretich (Kevin), Crystal Albritton (David), and Dawn Marie Josh (Brad), Don̢۪s children Robert Sikes (Carol), Mike Sikes, Richard Sturrock, and Shelley Wise (Glen). There are 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Betty̢۪s honor to the Rogue Valley Humane Society in Grants Pass. A memorial service and celebration of Betty̢۪s life will be held at 10:00am on March 31, 2007 at the Stephens Family Chapel located at 1629 Williams Highway in Grants Pass, Oregon.
