Bessie Ursula "Sue" Crook

Sue Crook, 88 of Grants Pass passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Laurel Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 1st, 10:00 AM at Stephens Family Chapel with Pastor Steve Burman of Faith Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens in Grants Pass. She was born Bessie Ursula Crook on March 19, 1923 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Joseph and Martha Crook. In California she worked for Consolidated Vultee Aircraft (Convair) during the WWII and then for the State of California as a secretary. In 2007 she moved from Daly City, California to Grants Pass. She enjoyed reading, traveling, charity work and spending time with family. Survivors include her sister Gloria Carver of Grants Pass and numerous nieces and nephews.
