Bernetta Jean Saunders

Bernetta Jean Saunders, 82, of Williams passed away, September 7, 2010 at Forest Meadows Residential Care Facility in Grants Pass. A celebration of her life potluck will be held Thursday, September 9th, 5:00 PM at her son Robert Saunders home in Williams. She was born on February 15, 1928 in San Diego, California to Jessie and Pearl Hester. Bernetta graduated from Grossmont High School in El Cajon, California in 1946. She married Mark Theodore Saunders on June 15, 1946 in San Diego, CA. They moved to Southern Oregon from San Diego County in 1960. She enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Robert Saunders of Williams and Larry Saunders of Springfield, Oregon; three daughters, Gail Stone and Carol Ruska both of Grants Pass and Judy Ewing of Medford; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
