Bernard "Bernie" Wesley King 60, passed away May 26, 2022. Bernie was born November 22, 1961 in Oregon City, OR to Hazel and John King. He moved to Central Point at a very young age and was a lifelong resident of Central Point OR. He graduated from Crater High School in 1980 where he excelled at football and wrestling.
He later assisted with coaching the Jr. Comets Wrestling Program for a short time. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed camping with family and friends and liked spending time in the mountains and at the coast. He loved "his" Dallas Cowboys and Nascar, he was never prouder than when he was watching his son race his dwarf car or when he was holding his beloved grandchildren.
Bernie was a hardworking man of many talents, he worked in the Sheetmetal trade as a journeyman fabricator, installer and estimator for over 20 yrs. He later went to work for Dorner Enterprises at Fed Ex as a delivery driver.
Bernie is preceded in death by both parents, Hazel and John King and a sister Arvella Flowers. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 yrs Beckey King, his son Joshua King, daughter in law Chelsey King, two grandchildren Saige and Reece, and former spouse Krista James. His sister Verda Petty and nieces Connie Flowers, Cathy Petty and nephew Bill Petty and many other family and friends.
A celebration of life is being planned for June 11, 2022 at 4 Daughter Irish Pub 126 W Main St Medford OR from 2PM to 5PM
