Benny Joe Frazier, 80, of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021, at his home.
Benny was born on July 25, 1940 to Ralph and Agnes Frazier in Crossville, Alabama and he grew up in Haleyville, Alabama. He married Helen Choate on May 5, 1961 in Salinas, California. Together they raised three daughters: Debbie, Rhonda, and Connie.
Throughout his career he was Self-Employed as a General Contractor and was a long-time member of the Homebuilders Association. At the time of his passing, he was retired. The things he enjoyed included fishing, hunting, golfing, and, of course, spending time with his many grandchildren great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and Ralph Frazier, his brother, Jack Frazier, and his two sisters: Betty Argent and Linda Frazier.
Benny is survived by his wife, Helen Frazier of Grants Pass, Oregon, his three daughters; Debbie Westerman, of Grants Pass, Oregon, Connie (Bill) Spahnle, of Grants Pass, Oregon, and Rhonda (Tim) Cornelison of Grants Pass, Oregon, his two brothers; Bobby Frazier, of Albertville, Alabama, and Ronald Frazier, of Haleyville, Alabama, his two sisters; Kaynell Parker, of Decatur, Alabama, and Frances Wakefield, of Haleyville, Alabama, 5 Grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Benny is laid to rest at Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point, Oregon.
