Barbara Jo Wilson (Baboo), 83, a loving wife, mother, and the world's greatest grandmother, left her earthly home to spend eternity with our savior Jesus Christ, February 7, 2022. Barbara spent her childhood years in Visalia, California, on a dairy farm. She loved to share stories about the animals and her favorite adopted kitty, whom
she carried around in her skirt pockets. On February 19, 1955, she married the love of her life, L.D. Wilson, her beau from the tender age of 14. She was born again (Acts 2:38) in 1960, at the age of 22. Together, Barbara and L.D. raised two beautiful daughters providing them with a marvelous apostolic heritage. Outside of serving the Lord, Baboo's greatest joy came from her grandchildren, actively involving herself in their daily lives and activities. She loved to travel, read, crossword puzzles, and of course bargain shopping. Her one final wish would be to know that her children and grandchildren are serving the Lord. "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children
walk in truth." (3 John 1:4) She is survived by husband L.D. Wilson; her two daughters,
Terri Davis, and Kathy Dansby; her sister, Sue Rose; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her mother, Hazel Archer; father, Leo Sparks Sr.; sister, Dortha Stewart; brother, Leo Sparks Jr.; and her grandson, Brett Davis who was the love of her life. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at New Life Church at 2:00 pm.
