Barbara Ann Tackett

Barbara Ann Tackett, 65, of Grants Pass died surrounded by family in her home on March 6, 2011. Celebration of her life will be held Sunday, March 13th 1:00 PM at Rogue River Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was born on December 30, 1945 in Culver City, California to Cecil and Patricia Bauer. She attended High School at East Central High School in Oklahoma. She worked with disabled children until her health prevented her to continue. She then started volunteering at nursing homes, chip program, Tops, Relay for life and Cancer support groups. In November or 2009 her son moved her to Grants Pass from Paradise, CA. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Paradise California and most recently at Gateway Christian Fellowship of Seventh-day Adventist. She loved spending time with her family (Children, and Grandchildren); she had a spiritual gift for writing Poetry. She also enjoyed Bon-fires, sun bathing, going on scenic drives and Casino's (Where she once won a car) Survivors include her husband Charles Tackett; three children son David Tackett Sr. and daughters Pamela Woitt and Billie Tackett; five grandchildren
