Barbara Mock-Rosa, 84 of Grants Pass passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at her residence in Grants Pass, Oregon. A Celebration of Life will be held at Barbara's house on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 1 p.m. For online condolences and tributes please visit stephensfc.com. Arrangements by Stephens Family Chapel, Grants Pass, Oregon. Barbara was born on February 3, 1930 in Clyde, New York and grew up in Newark, New York. She graduated from Clyde-Savannah High School in Clyde, New York. She moved to Eugene, Oregon in the early 50's and then finally relocated to Grant Pass on the early 60's. Barbara loved working in her gardens, especially her roses. She also enjoyed bowling, fishing, traveling, playing cards, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and entertaining guests. She worked at Jackson & Perkins Rose Garden in Newark, New York. She was then a stay at home mom until all her children had grown up and out of the house. She then went to work at Mock Ford in customer relations. Survivors include her brothers, Donald Carr of Grants Pass, OR, Charles Carr of Grants Pass, OR, Robert Carr of Phoenix, AZ, Joseph Carr of Newark, NY, Jack Carr of Waterloo, NY, Tim Carr of Canandaigua, NY; sisters, Beverly Vanhoover of Newark, NY, Charlotte Damick of Newark, NY, Peggy Percy of Riviera Beach, FL; sons Gene Mock of Grants Pass, OR, Don Mock of Grants Pass, OR; daughter, Gail Mock of Eureka, MT, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leland (Pete) Mock on February 7, 1988 and then her second husband, Edwin Rosa on May 19, 2013.
